Join us on Saturday, February 11th at The Continental Club for a high energy, psychedelic rock extravaganza and much-anticipated release of the 2nd Lone Star Hippie album "Mind Ride"!

Show starts at 9pm! $10 entry. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

About the album:

"Mind Ride" feature's 15 tunes, including 14 originals by Lone Star Hippie and our own psychedelic version of "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" by Bob Dylan; featuring special guest guitarist George Kinney, of The Golden Dawn.

Other special guests include Margaret Lejeune and Debra Brown of Two Star Symphony (strings), Robert Markoff (keys), Richard Cagle, Elissa Levitt & Megan Morris (vocals), James Henry (guitar), Gary Sapone (harmonica), and Grammy award winning bassist, Stan Chambers.

About Lone Star Hippie:

Lone Star Hippie is a Texas psych-rock band based in Houston, TX. Lone Star Hippie released their first self-titled album in 2010 with original members Michael Morris, Chanse Morris, Gus Hieden, and Stan Chambers. In 2014, the band reconfigured and William vonReichbauer joined on bass, and Miranda Herbert joined on vocals/flute. In 2016, their song "Man of the World" was named "Best Rock Song" by The Akademia Music Awards. Lone Star Hippie is dedicated to writing, performing and preserving music reminiscent of psychedelic rock's early years. Musical influences include 13th Floor Elevators, The Golden Dawn, Josefus, Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, and many many others...
