Houston Symphony says
Beatlemania officially arrived in Houston 50 years ago this summer when Sir Paul, John, George and Ringo first performed at the Sam Houston Coliseum in 1965. As a tribute, we’re kicking off the season with an all-out Beatles celebration. The first half of the program features the entire Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album, which is ranked #1 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” For the second half, we’re saluting the biggest hits of the band’s astounding career, such as “Let It Be,” “All You Need Is Love” and “Eleanor Rigby.” Joining Mike and the orchestra is pop sensation Rajaton (pronounced Rah-yah-tann), a vocal sextet from Finland, who will give a fresh take on some of the world’s most influential music.

Tickets start at $25.
