Research Day 2016, “Advancing Nursing Science and Research to Improve Health Outcomes,” is sponsored by UTHealth School of Nursing and the Zeta Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. Activities for this 5th annual event will include a keynote speaker, podium and poster presentations – open to all! Light breakfast & lunch provided.

Keynote Speaker at 9 AM, Rm 330: SUZANNE BAKKEN, PhD, RN, FAAN – Alumni Professor of Nursing and Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University, presenting “Advancing Nursing Science and Health Equity in the Era of Big Data and Precision Medicine.” We have limited seating for the keynote session, so RSVP today at 713-500-2037.

Registration is free. However, if you would like to receive 4.5 nursing continuing education credits, a $10 charge applies. You can either pay cash onsite or pay via credit card by calling 713-500-2037. (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.)
