Run For The Rose says
Brain cancer will once again meet its match in April as patients, supporters and family members converge for the 15th Annual Run for the Rose on Sunday, April 2, 2017, 8 a.m., at NRG Park. Races include:
5K Fun Run (certified and timed option)
Survivor Stroll for patients
Family 1K

Run for the Rose supports immunotherapy research, new drug development, and clinical trials for patients with brain cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center; neuroscience research initiatives and the Pediatric Palliative Care Program at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital; and cutting-edge research and treatment for children with brain tumors through the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation Professorship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at McGovern Medical School (formerly UTHealth Medical School). More than $5.3 million has been donated to these three organizations since 2003.
