The After Party In Technicolor says
Matt & I are very excited to be chairing the After Party of this year's Stages’ Gala benefiting Stages Repertory Theatre, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. As you all know the Gala is being chaired by the dream team of Vivian Wise and Sandra Porter. The theme "Hollywood & Vine," celebrates the glamorous age of Hollywood. For those able to attend the Gala the After Party admission is INCLUDED with all Gala tickets. You can purchase those here (

As the dinner is drawing to a close the After Party will just be getting started. We will be transitioning from the stylized black & white era to the bold and brazen age of Technicolor. Much like the Gala itself, we will have some fun and fabulous moments planned for you. If you aren’t able to make the Gala but want to come be a part of the evening you can purchase your After-Party ticket as a stand-alone ticket here:

Stages Repertory Theatre is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit professional theatre. Founded as an alternative theatre in 1978, Stages has become one of the most respected and acclaimed regional theatres in America. Now in its 36th season, Stages is a professional Equity (AEA) theatre that produces new work, presents established work in new ways, and nurtures talent for the performing arts field. Characterized by courage, generosity, ingenuity and intimacy, Stages remains an integral part of the Houston arts community.

One of only two theatres in the region to offer year-round employment for actors, directors, designers and theatre technicians through professional unions, Stages brings a level of artistic excellence to Houston that raises the national profile of the whole community, improves the quality of life in the region, and offers residents and visitors extraordinary live performances. Each play is brought to life by an exceptional team of artists, performers and craftspeople largely from the Houston area, but also with guest artists from around the world.

Stages’ work reaches more than 250,000 people each year through a wide array of dramas, musicals, and family entertainments performed locally; as well as plays and musicals developed at Stages which are performed around the country. In addition to its varied season of contemporary plays, Stages offers a range of education and community outreach programs that provide unparalleled opportunities for talented and under-served youth, enrichment for educators and cultural leaders, and career development for the full spectrum of arts professionals.

Through this robust scope of activities Stages encourages conversation about important ideas, provides insight into other cultures and viewpoints, and helps develop each new generation of artists, audiences and citizens. Our annual gala and auction is a vital source of revenue for Stages’ artistic, education and community programs.
