Abu Ghosh Festival

For 28 years now, vocal music lovers have been making pilgrimages to Kiryat Yearim in Sukkot and Shavuot, to take pleasure in the wonderful sounds and special atmosphere of the picturesque villages of the Jerusalem Mountains. This Sukkot will also see a festival with leading choirs from Israel and abroad in a series of concerts, to be held in Abu Ghosh churches. The festival program is rich and varied and will include ten church concerts in Kiryat Yearim and six more concerts in the Crusader Church crypt. As is tradition, on Saturdays and Mondays (12:00-16:00), the festival within the festival will take place, four hours of music in five venues around the church at the same time.
