Amir comes from the restaurant and nightlife business, while Arianna is an artist and the daughter of renowned gallery-owner from Florence, Italy. The two have combined their creative minds to produce Beit Kandinof: an artists' studio, art space with changing exhibitions, center for classes and lectures, and a Jaffa bar and restaurant that will operate into the night. With a handcrafted menu by the talented and promising chef Omri McNabb, who was the sous-chef at Popina, worked previously at Herbert Samuel and at various restaurants abroad, Beit Kandinof promises to deliver the best for culture junkies.
Italian tapas + morning alcohol = a wonderful, wonderful world. Their offerings include artichokes with salted sheep cheese, herbs, and salsa rosa, roasted beets with endive leaves, goat cheese, and pistachio oil, eggs with mushrooms, and Piedina Bianca (thin dough with mascarpone), egg, spinach, and pancetta. Don't miss the Italian tasting platter, which includes a variety of cheeses, sausages, and other surprises.
