Israel’s largest performing arts center

The Jerusalem Theatre is the largest performing arts center in the country. Having opened its doors in 1971, the arts and culture center houses six different halls including: the Sherover Theatre (950 seats), the Henry Crown Symphony Hall - home to the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra - (750 seats), the Rebecca Crown Auditorium (450 seats), and also the Little Theatre (110 seats). The arts center was the initiative of Miles and Gita Sherover and was supported by Mayor Teddy Kolleck and was architecturally designed by Michael Nadler. Here you can enjoy a wide variety of shows ranging from orchestral performances, dance shows, plays, musicals, children's performances, and also film screenings.
