Photography artist Diana Blok was introduced to Pembe Hayat and Kaos GL (institutions that carry out work focused on LGBT issues and human rights) three years ago. Since then, she's been documenting the struggles of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals who are willing to take part in her photographs. Displayed in Sanatorium's Asmalimescit venue with the support of the Netherlands Consulate General, this project isn't Diana Blok's only commitment this month: she was also present with her camera at the front lines of the Istanbul Pride Parade on July 1.
