Time Out says

Asmalımescit style 8 İstanbul's name comes from the number 8 which is seen as the most abundant and perfect number in China and reflects the sign of infinity when looked at horizantally. Though it is sometimes remembered as a bar, it offers more than just a bar.

The moment you take your step inside the venue, you’re in a totally different place; like a French bar in Morocco in the mid 20th century. There is a huge bar on one side, open kitchen on the other and there is the stage to dance on in the middle with tables lined around. The menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, grills, classics from the world and desserts. Thai specials for spicy and hot food lovers are especially delicious.

You can also attend to the parties arranged a few times a month. Follow the schedule from their website. They serve on the terrace during the summer.
