Melbourne-based Malaysian artist SoonHoe's black-and-white photographs in both film and digital formats pay homage to the intrinsic beauty of the seas that surround Malaysia. Taken over visits to the coastal islands between 2008 and 2015, the images are more like paintings than photographs, giving depth to the medium.
