'Aguirre, the Wrath of God' screening

Catch Werner Herzog’s award-winning epic of the travels of Lope de Aguirre who led a group of conquistadores in search of El Dorado, the city of gold. Written and directed by Herzog himself based on his imagination, the story was also partly inspired by some of Gaspar de Carvajal’s Amazonian expeditions.
