Chef Alexy Fuchs, who helms one-star Michelin restaurant Le Gavroche in Strasbourg, France, will be taking over the kitchen at Mezze Bistro for a week to present a special menu of Alsatian classic cuisine with a modern touch. Appetizers like cold consommé of Arctic char with brown shrimp and French black cherry, Monkfish carpaccio, and reinvented goat’s cheese salad provide a decadent start to your meal. For the main course, tuck into dishes such as braised leg of rabbit, charbroiled black cod, prawns ala plancha and roasted lamb saddle. For dessert, the guest chef will spoil you with choices including caramelised brioche with beer-poached pear and white cheese sorbet, pineapple and mango streusel, passion fruit panna cotta and cocotte-baked flourless cake. The dishes are paired with boutique Alsatian wines.
