Mozart in Paris

Composed on an excursion to Paris when he was in his youth, Mozart’s ‘Symphony No 31’ – better known as ‘Paris’ – is a confident crowd-pleaser. Ciarán McAuley also conducts Schubert’s sixth symphony, with an opening by Elgar’s ‘Sospiri’.
