Time Out says

DJs these days have weirdsounding names. We get it. But Eats Everything is by far the strangest we’ve ever heard. The Bristol, UK house-music producer, otherwise known as Daniel Pearce, was recently crowned DJ Mag’s Best British DJ.

For years, Dan has been spinning hardcore ‘jungle’ tunes. And he hardly broke out of the Bristol postcode. Then, when the aptly entitled ‘Entrance Song’ happened, Dan suddenly became the hottest commodity in the scene. The hit was also featured as one of the biggest summer tunes selected by Pete Tong in 2010.

Dan has arguably single-handedly defined a whole new genre of forwardthinking underground house music. A niche genre that brings in elements from classic house, UK bass music, Detroit techno, jungle and early rave.

His upcoming tune, ‘Need’ features vocals by Leah, showing his ability to incorporate diverse music genres into one. He has also been remixing tunes from The Ting Tings, Jamie Jones, We Have Band, Crazy P and more. His often loose and vaguely old-school style with a wee bit of eccentricity always promises good fun. We certainly look forward to seeing what the hungry man has to offer, musically, of course. Ian Loh
