Iranian-Canadian DJ Amirali may not be a household name yet, but he's surely on his way there. His debut album 'In Time' was released on Crosstown Rebels last year, and Amirali has since received much acclaim for his maiden effort, with indie dance/electronic online music mag Resident Advisor calling it 'an example in perfect craftsmanship'. A musician at heart and not just a producer, Amirali's mish mash of house, techno, funk, electronica, disco and everything in between – teamed with his signature haunting vocals – will rope you into his 'weird and wonderful' mind. His set at Vertigo will include both a live performance and DJ set, with DJs Alam & Dezz and Tele Vizion on the support.
