The panel will bring in non-Malay writers who have written in Bahasa Malaysia, namely Uthaya Shankar, Gina Yap (pictured) and Alfian Sa’at. The panelists will explore the market for Malay fiction and discuss the changing trends of the genre. The discussion will be moderated by literary critic Umapagan Ampikaipakan.
