Reverting Indonesian Design Practices into Civil Movements

Held at Malaysia Design Archive's new space at the Zhongshan Building, this talk seeks to understand the use of visual culture to affect the political and cultural discourse in Indonesia - especially by local civil movements there. The talk will be given by Ellena Ekarahendy, a graphic designer from Indonesia and also the current chairperson of of SINDIKASI (Media and Creative Industry Labors Union for Democracy) Presidium.
