Time Out says

The house of fado diva Amália Rodrigues is a shrine to the memory of the greatest exponent of Lisbon's soulful music . Lined with 18th-century azulejos, it has been restored and adapted, displaying portraits of the star by leading Portuguese artists, her favourite glittery outfits, jewellery, and decorations awarded by adoring politicians. Guided tours are conducted in Portuguese or English. Amália, as she is invariably known, died in October 1999 after a career that spanned decades, having won the hearts of her compatriots and fame in Italy, France and Brazil. Since 2002, her remains have been in the National Pantheon.
