Zé da Mouraria

Also known as "that place in Mouraria that is always full" and has a "great roasted cod", Zé da Mouraria is the ideal restaurant for those who want to eat a lot (very much), pay little and spend an afternoon after lunch, at the table, without being shooed. No photograph lives up to the size and beauty of the platter that arrives at the table with the high chop, the potatoes and the grain. It is also worthwhile to sink your tooth on the ribs with bean rice, in the garlic steak or in the cuttlefish. All excellent.

Perfect for: a long lunch, with a lot of wine.
