Before the film, there’s a drinks reception with the great and good of the British film industry. The director of ‘About Time’, Richard Curtis, and his cast, including Domhnall Glesson and Bil Nighy, were all at the party.

And it’s curtains-up for the world premiere of ‘About Time’. The film reaches cinemas in the UK on September 4 2013.

The outdoor screenings at Somerset House in London are now major events every summer. This year, the series kicked off on August 8 with the world premiere of 'About Time', the new film from Richard Curtis. It's a time-travelling romance starring Domhnall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams – and, best of all, it didn't rain all evening.
