A bar and restaurant on the eighth floor of the iconic OXO Tower. Visitors can choose to sit inside or out on the terrace to marvel at the spectacular vistas across the Thames (to St Paul’s Cathedral and Somerset House), with a cutting edge cocktail in hand or a craft beer. I love love love this place. Fantastic place to go for a date or to chill and catch up with your girl friends.

The cocktails are lovely as are the views. If ever I'm in the area I find an excuse to come here. Its fabulous.

As far as views and service go, this place is pretty top notch. The drinks are fab but I visited to taste the 'Veganuary' menu and left feeling a little underwhelmed. The food was a little bland but top marks to the team for putting together some creative, unusual dishes.

Not a shabby place to take a date I must say as the sun sets over the river Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral and all of London town lights up in the background - it was great for some debriefing drinks with my girlfriend after we visited the Chrom-Art #TRIBE17 International Art Festival which was in the OXO Bargehouse - a great event which showcases art from international and UK-based artists ranging from music, art (which you can purchase), performances and experiences. Look out for more upcoming events on their website. OXO Tower Bar can get positively rambunctious and yet can still maintain a very dignified vibe which I put to the very efficient staff and that killer riverside view.

Tip: they do take reservations however we just walked in and didn’t have to wait long for a seat despite how busy it was. Obviously on a good day, try and get a seat on the terrace, if not, any seat close to the windows to maximise your view of the Thames!

Good For: drinks with a view, outdoor area, date night, catch up with friends, small groups

Really love this place! If you're a sucker for views like me then you definitely need to check this place out! It's right next to the restaurant but has so much more of a relaxed atmosphere with music in the background, whilst still looking so gorgeous inside with beautiful fresh flowers and little candles on the tables. There are larger tables with sofas for larger groups and they even give you blankets if you want to sit outside. However, the view from inside is just as scenic; you can see London lit up.

The cocktails are slightly pricey but they taste incredible and you get complimentary nibbles to go with them! This place is perfect for after work drinks, first dates or even just a catch up with friends. Get into the festive spirit and check it out this Christmas! :)

Great place to drink on the Southbank. Interesting and characterful cocktails. Atmospheric, very busy on the weekends and in the summer so get their quick as you can't book in advance!
