A Greene King pub without a selection of decent real ales.  Very crowded on a Thursday evening but plenty of room in the restaurant section at the back.  We weren't the only couple to find a table and wait for service which didn't come.  After 15 minutes we discovered you have to go to the bar to order food.  Well the food (Thai curry) was OK though most of the menu was fast food which isn't my thing - and once ordered the food came reasonably quickly.  Staff were helpful and polite. Lunchtime menu looks good value - sandwich, side and drink for £8.45 - and the place itself looks reasonably pleasant.  So may come back for a lunchtime visit now I know the drill.

We had our Christmas work do here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was amazing - sleek and covered in the colours and images of peacock feathers. The toilets were pretty decent but one was out of order. The drinks were very nice and I reallu enjoyed the food they served. Would definitely come back again.

Popped in here for a few drinks on Saturday evening. The place has a pleasant vibe with a ground floor and basement bar and does a good selection of ales and lagers. No Jack Daniels though! The food is also great - the fish and chips came out on a board and was HUGE and the chunky chips were some of the best I've had recently. Mushy peas were also a pleasant bonus.
