This Wandsworth Common bar and restaurant is one of a few south-west London spots from the Brinkley's group - they're responsible for Joe's Brasserie in Wandsworth too, as well as the Wine Gallery and the eponymous, mononymous Chelsea flagship.
As with all Brinkley's venues, the wine list is a focus here - the low mark ups again proving a draw. Expect a list with an old world slant, though well-known wine-making regions in New Zealand, South Africa, USA and Australia also feature prominently.
The food menu is catholic, too. Dishes range from burgers, crispy calamari, Thai chicken salads and mezze platters to a Japanese coconut curry, king prawn linguine, chorizo and ricotta tortelloni and Moroccan chicken with spiced cous cous, baba ghanoush, rocket and caramelised lime. Sunday roasts and party menus are available, too.
