Time Out says

There's certainly more than a little sophistication at this basement bar on Throgmorton Street, in the City. For starters, it's all about quality over quantity - it's seating only, and they recommend you book.

Once you're in, the real appeal comes from the cocktails, with drops ranging from kir blanc royales and juleps a la vamp to a market maker (Portobello Road No. 171 gin with Arbitrager tonic syrup, grapefruit and brut Champagne from René Geoffroy) and a Planter's Punch made from a recipe torn from the New York Times on August 8, 1908. There's also a couple of drops they promise only to ever make 100 times - we don't know what number they're currently up to.

Outside of the cocktails it's craft beer, Champagne and a short selection of wines from the old world and new. Cheese boards, charcuterie platters and fancy nuts provide the sustenance.
