Time Out says

A Camra award-winning freehouse just around the corner from Old Street tube, Old Fountain has been run by the Durrant family for 50 years. It's a traditional old boozer but its focus on craft beer, modern food menu and attractive roof terrace bedecked with flora bring it firmly up to date.

The beer selection really is pretty extensive. Expect eight real ales and nine craft kegs that change regularly, alongside Veltins, Camden Hells, Brooklyn, Peroni, Meantime and Camden Town Gentlemen's Wit lagers on tap. Fifteen options by the bottle include Partizan Pale Ale, Magic Rock, Sierra Nevada, Dark Star, Mikkeller and Evil Twin.

The food menu ranges from Romano peppers stuffed with smoked aubergine, pesto and mixed salad to merguez sausages, a duck egg, asparagus and pancetta salad, onglet steaks and the 'big pig' burger - made from eight-hour slow-roasted shoulder of pork with smokey bacon. Sunday roasts are popular, too.
