Somehow, the combination of London's oldest music hall and its foremost purveyors of working-class homosexualist honkytonk wouldn't have occured to us… but we like it. Duckie's hostess with the mostest, Amy Lamé, hosts a generation-crossing soirée in which the gorgeous likes of Scottee, Dickie Beau, Miss Behave, the Lip Sinkers, Up & Over It, Jessica Walker and Craig Reid put on a show aiming to please everyone from kids to local pensioners, who make up half the crowd. They've done it before at Blackpool, Bexhill and the BAC; this time, east London intergenerational community arts project Magic Me have facilitated artistic collaborations between teens and over-60s.
