Best of the year 2010: cabaret in London
Our Cabaret editor chooses his highlights of a breakthrough year for cabaret
If the Edinburgh festival is a belwether of national cultural life, expect to see a lot more cabaret filtering through to the mainstream. This year’s fringe was bursting at the seams with dozens of acts of varying forms (and, as to be expected with a growing scene, quality), including scene stalwarts getting deservedly higher profiles and exciting newcomers.
