‘It could’ve been worse’ may not sound like gushing praise. But when a film expands on a concept dreamed up by a production executive and his four-year-old son (really), expectations for said film naturally plummet through the floor. Still, while ...

Overblown in almost every respect (not only its giant ape), 'Kong: Skull Island' is the kind of Hollywood fever dream that, in its first few minutes alone, throws at you a WWII bomber crash, a sizzling montage of Cold War nuclear escalation and a ...

‘Fifty Shades Darker’. The clue is in the title. The second ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film is aiming for the shadows. It wants to be a thriller, where the erotic risk of Christian Grey’s sex dungeon is upstaged by actual danger (of the non S&M variet...

Vue cinemas are pretty much the same everywhere, but this one is fairly new and in the middle of Westfield so it's good for popping in after a bit of shopping and grabbing something to eat. There are often lots of different viewing times (though weirdly they are not all listed together on the screens outside so you have to keep an eye out for different times cycling on the screens or check on the booking machine to see them all). As someone with fairly long legs this is my cinema of choice if only for the generous leg room!
