  • Based on a novel by Yoshikazu Tekeuchi, this unusual animé follows Polanski's Repulsion into some fairly grown-up areas: the vulnerability of one's sense of self, the flimsiness of a public persona, the price to be paid for female complicity with ...

It seems third time’s the opposite of lucky with animated franchises. Like ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Ice Age’ before it, the ‘Despicable’ series has made the short trip from lovably madcap to tedious in three films (not counting the actually-kind-of-terrif...

Vue cinemas are pretty much the same everywhere, but this one is fairly new and in the middle of Westfield so it's good for popping in after a bit of shopping and grabbing something to eat. There are often lots of different viewing times (though weirdly they are not all listed together on the screens outside so you have to keep an eye out for different times cycling on the screens or check on the booking machine to see them all). As someone with fairly long legs this is my cinema of choice if only for the generous leg room!
