Sudent club nights? They're all about necking cheap snakebite and black that's been watered down to an almost comical degree, falling over on the dancefloor to Chesney Hawkes's 'The One and Only' and trying to cop off with one/all of the bar staff. Right? No!
Well, yes, lots of them still are, but London is also blessed with a selection of much cooler options. These take place in high-end clubs, with great DJs spinning underground tunes. Of course, if you want a boozy mash-up and more cheese than a fondue orgy, you're still catered for. Here's our pick of five regular student nights and one-off freshers' parties to usher in the new term with a boom. And the good news for everyone else is that you don’t have to be a student to attend.
