Video artist Charles Atlas has an impressive track record of working in dance, as Merce Cunningham's in-house filmmaker for forty years and a regular collaborator with Michael Clark (best known for the brilliantly oddball mock-documentary 'Hail the New Puritan'). Here you can see a nine-channel installation bringing together archive footage of Cunningham's work (Mar 19-21 10am-2.30pm, Mar 22-23 10am-10pm, Mar 24-26 10am-6pm), plus the creation of a new work, made in collaboration with French choreographers Cecilia Bengolea and Francois Chaignard (open rehearsals Mar 19-21 3-6pm; performance Mar 21 8pm) and a new piece made with New York performance artists Johanna Constantine (Mar 25 8pm). Visiting the installation and rehearsals is free, the evening rehearsals are ticketed.
