To be honest I didn't expect much from Piccadilly Institute and only stopped by on a Saturday afternoon due to a drinks voucher we had for one of their mojitos.

The ambience at 4pm is unsurprisingly zero and the staff were unprepared to serve drinks - not a great start.
We finally got our Passionfruit Mojito, which was actually very good and not as sweet as it sounds. We sat by the window - the only place that had any light. The rest of the bar is dimly lit, which was the same for other areas I saw (the place is made up of 2 clubs and 5 bars so I can imagine being insanely busy during the evenings at the weekend).
The main reason they get such a low star rating were the toilets - they stank, there was pooling water on the floor, dirty toilets and minimal toilet paper. I can understand how during a busy evening it miiiight get in this state but why was it not cleaned before reopening!?
Anyway enough about the toilet - I would avoid coming back here and instead make my way to one of the many nice cocktail bars in Soho.

It was my 21st birthday last Saturday and I thought I was gonna have a good night I thought wrong. I had booked a table at this club for 20 people or more paid a deposit and everything. We arrived at the club I went first told them I was here the lady at the door said fine follow me. Then out of no where this pig of a bouncer pulls up my cousins ID and said "this ID DOSE NOT LOOK LIKE HER SHE IS NOT GETTING IN." The bouncer that was working that nigh is disgusting pig ignorant piece of rubbish. The majority of my party was black an we was turned away because he didn't like the look of my cousin. We were then physical forced out of the club I asked to speak to a manger he said there no manger here and laughed in my face I asked him I would like a refund of my money he said "I'm not giving you a refund of your money your not getting anything from us".
I then begged him to let her in and he said "No I don't care if it's your 21st she not coming and your all not coming in". He then carried on saying that to us laughing and smiling. He then called the police the police came but said the club was in the wrong because they have checked over CCTV cameras. Avoid this club it's disgusting that they have people like that working for them I still have not got my money back for the table or a response from the club I will never be going back !!!1

Would just like to say how badly your staff treated my hen party on Saturday, after 25 of us turning up for our pre paid area there was a tiny table with 4 seats and no drinks on it. When we asked to speak to a manager about the area we were left standing there for half an hour until someone had to go and find someone else to talk to. All we asked for was our money back to go and spend somewhere else as the area for a big group was not suitable and your staff were DISGUSTING, a male bouncer was screaming in the groups faces threatening to 'drag us down the stairs' if we didn't leave- we were more than happy to leave we just wanted our money back- one of your female bouncers witnessed this and took us out a different exit as she was concerned as to what your bouncer would do! I would like to Thankyou for ruining my hen night and I would like the name of this disgusting man, the female bouncer assured me she would give it to me and said it would all be on CCTV- I hope your customer service will be better than it was on Saturday night. I am utterly furious and I urge no groups of girls to go to Picadilly institute- no woman should be spoken to and dragged about the way we're were on Saturday it was VILE!

Make no mistake…Piccadilly is by FAR the worst club I have ever been too. Let’s first get the obvious stuff out of the way. • The sound system is very poor in every room • For such a big space, each room is very small and makes this club seem like a series of shit, tiny clubs rather than one big one • The drinks on offer are unimaginative and dull; without competitive pricing However, it is time to really vent about what is the biggest gripe. And that is the fact that this club makes it’s customers feel like little pieces of scum. This time last year my friend complained about going to this club and at one point being taken down an alley by the bouncers and been kicked the shit out of. Today, my friend was escorted out for being too drunk. I have no problem with this, but he was clearly told that he would be allowed back in if given half an hour to sober up. In the end, it was two and half hours before he was let back in. Both me (whilst sober) and him (whilst very sober after the initial half hour) were not allowed in for the duration of this time. This is despite queuing up in an orderly fashion and proving our sobriety. We certainly weren’t let in for some bizarre power struggle on behalf of your pathetic bouncers. Perhaps trying to prove that they are ‘hard’ one last time before they sink into middle age? Nevertheless, your bouncers made both of us feel like we absolutely weren’t wanted. A good club would stick by their word or make each person seem wanted. Instead, your bouncers did a great job of making sure two 21 year olds didn’t buy drinks in your club for two hours and instead wasted that time standing in the street. Moreover, I left my coat in the cloakroom. At some point in the night, I unfortunately lost my ticket. When I approached the cloak room at 130am, instead of making me feel like a value customer, they instead made me feel like a fucking idiot for losing my coat, and certainly talked down to me whilst they told me to meet at less busy time. When I approached them later whilst there was no queue, they still refused to even consider my request to look for my coat; again your staff seem to have been trained with some bizarre power hungry rules rather than with the customer at heart. This isn’t to mention your incredibly rude bar staff. Your staff did a fantastic job of making sure that I did not spend a single penny in your club. Not only did you make me feel like shit, you also effectively robbed my coat. I have never met a customer based company who values the customer so little. It is truly a revolutionary business model you have going on. I will make it my life’s duty to make sure to never go to your shit little club again. Not only that, but if any of my friends ever mention going here, I will strongly, strongly discourage them. Literally, the worst club I have ever been to, Regards, DJ
