Pedestrian power rules on November 24, when Oxford Street and Regent Street are closed to traffic for VIP (very important pedestrian) Christmas shopping. There are also performances, festive merriment and, we're told, secret celebrity appearances (keep an eye open for familiar faces behind the tills).
