Time Out says

Would a cloned human being think exactly the same as the original? This is one of the underlying questions posed in this adventurous B&W nod to ‘Citizen Kane’, in which a struggling robotics corporation clones its long-deceased founder, Able Edwards, with a view to him leading the company out of the doldrums. But the new Able has a different business agenda… Galbreath makes a fair fist of his character, but it’s ultimately the film’s unusual production techniques that people are talking about. The whole film was shot using the ‘green screen’ method; that is to say, most of the sets and surrounding areas were scanned from existing photos on to which the actors were later superimposed. Then it was all edited down on a Mac using humble consumer software like Final Cut Pro and Photoshop. In that respect alone, it’s a very impressive achievement, despite the wobbly special effects.
