Alyssa: Tunisian Film Festival

Named after the legendary Queen Alyssa of Carthage (which you can find in modern Tunisia), London’s first-ever festival of Tunisian cinema features acclaimed family drama ‘A Son’, whose star Sami Bouajila won the Orizzonti Award for Best Actor at the 2019 Venice Film Fest, alongside four UK premieres, including Hafsia Herzi’s ‘Bonne Mere’, the ‘Un Certain Regard’ Ensemble Prizewinner at this year’s Cannes fest.
