For 51 days and nights in the summer of 2014, documentary filmmaker Mohamed Jabaly joins a team of paramedics on the war-torn streets of Gaza, witnessing the devastation and despair left by the conflict with Israel. Careening around the city in ambulance driven by Abu Marzouq, the filmmaker crafts a harrowing portrait of a community under siege. The shocking loss of life is brought home by scenes of the crew cleaning the ambulance's interior of flesh, blood and bone before the next call.
