The Joker is disfigured when a robbery at his former place of employment - a chemical plant - goes tragically wrong and he falls into the facility's waste system. Reborn as the arch-villain, he runs amok in Gotham and terrorises Commissioner James Gordon and his plucky daughter, Barbara, aka Batgirl. Batman launches a daring rescue mission, which leads to an amusement park where the caped crusader faces the Joker in the aptly named funhouse.

Tastemaker

This animated feature of the famouse 1980's comic book of the same name is a bit of a disappointment. With all the ingredients to make it good- Mark Hamill taking his seat back as the Joker and Kevin Conroy as Batman,an additional narrative to Batgirl's plot thread,I was excited! But it does not live up to expectation. It did not do anything the comic did already do. It was as if they literally took the comic version as the storyboard and made it as a film. The Batgirl thread was weak and felt irrelevant to the main plot. I have watched a lot of these comic book animations and this was not one of the best...or the worst.

Again, with most of the DC stuff that comes out,it was a bit of an anticlimax. It's not terrible, you can't go wrong with this classic tale, but it is nothing to write home about.
