Time Out says

As well-intentioned as it is deathly dull, this moody, London-set indie attempts to fuse a sprawling, right-on social agenda with a tenderly wrought mismatched romance and doesn’t manage to say anything interesting about either. Sheamy (Scot Williams – OTT) is a disgraced priest who comes down to London to hook up with his old superior, Father Brendan. When he is unable to track him down, his only other contact is folk singer Rory whom he meets in a bar along with charming concert promoter Katie (Cara Seymour). Katie and Sheamy develop a mutual crush but soon discover they are each concealing dark secrets that must be overcome before things go any further. Despite committed turns from the two leads (especially Seymour, who brings an edge of mystery to what is a naggingly superficial character), the tepid script and agile but inconsistent direction fail them at every turn.
