Shot in an abandoned railway station in Seville in 1996, Carlos Saura's love letter to the Flamenco explores the music and movement of this most passionate dance form. With close to 300 performers strutting their stuff, he captures the beauty, sensuality and energy of the performance, which includes a star turn from Joaquin Cortes demonstrating the power and grace of the Farruca.
