You probably already know if you’re the sort of person who’s up for a film about the formation of a choir in a Korean women’s prison, but even if you are, be forewarned that this mawkish, treacly confection might well reform your errant tastes. Sharing, hugging, learning and lots and lots of crying are the order of the day in an unremarkable, warbling-based all-female ‘Mean Machine’ clone with little going for it other than the chemistry of its leads.
