Time Out says

This excellent, stylishly photographed doc introduces East Berlin's prize ice hockey team the Eisbären (the Polar Bears) and their fans, and takes off to explore how deeply divided Germany still is. Along the way we learn a good deal about the team's history (for years East Germany had a league consisting of just two teams, playing each other 18 times a season), about the effect of capitalism on sport, and about what the fans get out of it.
