15. Let’s Make Love (1960)

Shield your eyes! As the Swingin’ Sixties rolled in to town, Monroe’s clothing rolled out the opposite direction, but this raunchy musical comedy from George Cukor is often considered one of the master director’s worst films. Even though this image suggests that Monroe was certainly game, the film was only made to fulfil a contractual obligation to Twentieth Century Fox, and is possibly notable only for introducing Monroe to French actor Yves Montand, with whom it is reported she had a secret fling while still married to playwright Arthur Miller.
