Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

Remember the early noughties, when you sat around wondering how music would have survived without Matt Bellamy and the other two curiously coiffed members of Muse, with their fuzzy riffs, tight-trouser vocals and fondness for a bit of Rachmaninov? No? Then this concert doc will probably leave you as uninterested as a One Direction nut at the Proms.

‘Muse: Live at Rome Olympic Stadium’ joins the band in July 2013 as they throw noise at a heaving Italian audience like hip thrusts at a bunga bunga party. It’s a drearily well-rehearsed performance packed with scream-along hits and theatrics, none of which will disappoint fans.

This is the first gig to be captured in a jazzy new pixel-packing format that reveals the boys’ every wince and pout. So if you weren’t there yourself to wade through the ocean of damp armpits to the front row, here’s a second chance.
