I saw a screening of Coriolanus last night and I thought it was spectacular. Everyone's performance was amazing, my biggest complaint is the camera edits. Some of the scenes should be taken at wider angles so the expression on everyone's face during a scene can be seen. This is probably the thing that differentiates the theater viewer's experience from the people who saw it on a screen's. The acting was flawless, and the sort of contemporary production really helped keep our focus on the words being spoken and the story. The use of blood and chairs throughout the play was very effective. If you enjoy any Shakespeare it really is a "must see"!
