The Royal Ballet's Artist in Residence Liam Scarlett unveils his first full-length ballet for the main stage - a brooding period adaptation of Mary Shelley's Gothic tale of morality and rebirth, which is broadcast live from the stage of the Royal Opera House in London. University student Victor Frankenstein is haunted by the death of his mother in childbirth. So he resolves to defy nature and reanimate the dead but his ground-breaking experiment gives birth to a hideous Monster.

I was hugely excited to experience a strong story on the stage of the Royal Opera House by the Royal Ballet. Such a captivating and mysterious story behind it, with noticeable love and rage. Three acts filled with strength, fear, passion and more importantly love. Thank you to all the cast, orchestra and the team behind the Royal Ballet Frankenstein Live. It was truly a strong, dark and eye catching performance. Performances filled with pure drama, exquisite ballet and extraordinary costume design.
