Time Out says

South Africa’s mining boom has created squalid labour camps populated by men who moved away from home to go where the work is. The only women in these settlements are there purely as prostitutes, trading sex for food, shelter and often AIDS. This grim documentary follows a group of HIV-positive women who have broken out of this desperate pattern of survival, and their attempts to change the status quo through a programme of education and medical support.
