Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Sure, it’s well-heeled tourist-central but let’s face it: there’s still plenty of appeal to Knightsbridge. Anywhere home to Harrods the Royal Albert Hall, gorgeous buildings and first-class shopping is always going to make for a sweet city break – even (especially?) to those of us who live further east.

This elegant four-star hotel impresses inside. The lobby is pretty chic, with marble features and walls lined by mirrors. And the room? Beautiful, contemporary and clean as a whistle. Expect all the usual amenities – including a pretty nifty mobile phone device that helps guests from out of town discover London.

My only complaint? There is access to free wi-fi, but if you’re looking to work from your room, be warned: while I could easily access the internet on my phone, I struggled loading web pages on my laptop. Still, I would happily stay here again – after all, who wants to take their work home with them anyway?
