Artist and ceramicist Christie Brown responds to two aspects of the museum; Freud's large collection of antique figurines, and the way in which we project a range of emotions onto such objects. Playing on the idea that these inanimate objects are given lives of their own and take part in animated narratives invisible to us, she has created a range of works occupying different spaces in the museum that reference Freudian themes such as displacement and representation.
