Time Out says

'Don't forget to send a postcard!'

What generations of school children on trips abroad forgot to do, artists didn't. This free display at the British Museum shows how creatives have used the cheap and cheerful means of communication in their work, often with the aim of delivering subversive political messages (like, genuinely subversive. Not the photo of boobs you purchased on the seafront in Weston-super-Mare at sixteen years old).
