Daphna Sadeh & The Voyagers

Promising female double bassist Sadeh mixes folkloric Mediterranean/Jewish music with modal jazz to hypnotic effect. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she earned her stripes with Israel-based band East-West Ensemble, touring internationally for seven years before exploring ambitious, otherwordly music with her own group.
